Support EIFF and help to transform people’s lives through film. We’re a charity whose reach goes far beyond the cinema screen, working with upcoming filmmakers year-round, inspiring thousands of young people, and bringing some of the world’s most exciting filmmakers to Edinburgh each year.
Your support is greatly received and, big or small, your donation will be helping us in our ambitions to do more.
You can also increase your charitable donation, thanks to the Gift Aid scheme that allows us to claim an additional 25p for every pound you donate, at no extra cost to you.
Edinburgh International Film Festival has been at the heart of Scotland’s film culture for over 70 years, but we are more than just somewhere to watch films. We’re a festival of discovery, diversity and debate, a showcase of the world’s best films and filmmakers, and a platform that inspires, entertains, illuminates, and challenges audiences to better understand the world around them.
By becoming an EIFF Patron, you will join a circle of like-minded individuals who share our passion for film, and play a key part in shaping EIFF’s future.

Leave a Legacy
In 2019 Edinburgh International Film Festival celebrates its 73rd edition as the world’s longest continually running film festival. We wish to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy and be inspired by the exciting programme of films, events and learning opportunities we are presenting all year round.
By remembering EIFF in your will, you will be helping us to continue investing in showing incredible films each year, celebrating world cinema in all its brilliance and diversity as well as in continuing to develop our ambitious film education programme.
You can also support us by becoming a Filmhouse or Belmont Filmhouse Member, which gives you priority booking for EIFF, and discounts at the Filmhouse cafe bar and off tickets year-round. See here for more information.
