The submissions process for the 2018 Edinburgh International Film Festival has been extended!
The deadline for late submissions, which was due to close next Thursday (8 February) has been extended for a week, now closing on Thursday 15 February - so you'll have an extra week to put the finishing touches to your submission!
Our 72nd edition takes place in Edinburgh from 20 June to 1 July 2018, and you can be a part of it. You can submit your film digitally via Withoutabox, or post a DVD screener to our Submissions team. Click here for more information on how to submit your film.

In 2017, EIFF screened many exceptional films received through open submissions, including Edie, London Symphony, Romans, Story of A Girl, Access All Areas and The Marker, as well as Just Charlie, which went on to win our Audience Award. EIFF also presented many short film submissions, including The Full Story, which won our Award for Best Short Film, and Poles Apart, which won our McLaren Award for Best British Animation.
The 2018 Edinburgh International Film Festival runs from Wednesday 20 June to Sunday 1 July.
